ECO MUNICH GmbH was founded in 1990, a time in which Germany was at the verge of profound economic changes. The former East German states had a large deficit of office, industrial and warehouse buildings not to mention technology and business know-how which were necessary in order to prosper in the new modern economy.

The German economy opened more towards the European, American and Asian markets. More international companies searched for business contacts in Germany. The globalization caused more and more transnational business transactions.

ECO MUNICH sought to overcome these obstacles and began to assist new businesses. Furthermore, ECO MUNICH took an active part as an intermediary in the negotiation of commercial and private real estate transactions, the merger, acquisition and sale of businesses, the resolution of claims for restitution from the German government for lands taken during and after World War II and the enforcement and assignment of those restitution claims.

In 1995 ECO MUNICH LLC was founded in Atlanta, Georgia, the capital of the USA´s booming Southeast. Atlanta offers dynamic opportunities as a commercial and manufacturing location - World Trade Magazine called Atlanta one of the best locations for international business.
